Terms and Conditions of Hire

Please check the dates you require are available either by telephone or email.
To confirm the reservation a deposit of one third of the cost is required. Provisional
bookings are held for 7 days .
The balance payment is due 6 weeks before your arrival.
Please make cheques payable to Mrs E E Wibberley

In the event of you needing to cancel your holiday we shall try to re-let your week. If this is possible your money will be refunded less £30 handling charge. If we are unable to re-let your week then all monies paid to us cannot be refunded.
We strongly recommend cancellation insurance.

Arrival and Departure
Rowlands Cottage will be available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival.
Please vacate the cottage by 10.00 am on the day of departure to allow us time to make it ready for the next guests.

Care of the Property
All guests agree to take all reasonable and proper care of the furniture, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and condition and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period,
All damages and breakages are the responsibility of the hirer and the cost of making good such damage shall be payable on demand, also any additional cost which may result in extra cleaning costs.

Right Of Entry
We reserve the right of reasonable access to the cottage at all times, but where possible, we would advise you in advance if access were required.

Party Size
Under no circumstances may more than maximum number of two persons, as stated in the brochure, occupy the property except by prior agreement.

The use of accommodation and amenities are entirely at the hirer’s risk, we do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless it is proven to have caused by a negligent act by ourselves, our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Any complaints must be made to Mrs E E Wibberley immediately. No complaints will be entertained at the end of the hiring period or after the hirer has departed.
